License & Device Terms

This document outlines the terms of license usage, device limitations, and device transfer rules for the OrynPOS application. By registering and using the application, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following terms.

1. Key Definitions

  • Store/Outlet: A single business unit utilizing the OrynPOS application.
  • Device: A mobile phone, tablet, or computer (Android/Windows) used to run OrynPOS.
  • License: The right to use the OrynPOS application based on the chosen plan (Free, Premium).

2. General License Terms

  • Each OrynPOS license is valid for 1 store/outlet, unless otherwise stated in special packages.
  • Licenses are non-refundable and non-transferable to unrelated external businesses.
  • Abuse of the license may result in immediate termination of services.

3. Free Package

3.1. Usage Rights
  • Limited to 1 active device (Android).
  • Only 1 admin account is available.
  • Data is stored entirely locally on the device (offline).
3.2. Device Transfers
  • A license can only be active on 1 device at any given time.
  • Device transfers are free and can be done anytime with no waiting period. Once you log in on a new device, the old device can no longer connect to the server.
  • Data on the new device will be empty and can only be populated by restoring from a manual backup previously created by you.

4. Premium Package

4.1. Usage Rights
  • License is valid for a lifetime for 1 store/outlet.
  • Can be used on 1 active device (Android or Windows).
  • Data is stored offline on the device.
4.2. Device Transfers
  • Similar to the Free plan, device transfers are free, with no waiting period and no transfer limit. Once you log in on a new device, the old device can no longer connect to the server.
  • Users are fully responsible for backing up data before transferring devices.

5. Backup Responsibility

For plans utilizing offline storage (Free & Premium), users assume full responsibility for:

  • Performing regular data backups.
  • Storing backup files in secure locations (e.g., Google Drive or USB drive).
  • We are not liable for data loss due to damaged or lost devices, or negligence in creating backups.
